ITALY SERIES 3

Italy Series 3 was made up of 14 players for Italy's Serie A, 1 from Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and  Manchester United and 6 Legend figures, making a total of 24 different figures to collect. ​

Some truly excellent figures made up this series, most notably that of Giorgio Chiellini, who's figure has always been in high demand and retains it's value, as it is the only figure Corinthian released of the defensive talisman.

 

 

Other highlights include the excellent sculpt of Napoli play maker Marek Hamsik, Brazil wonder kid Alexandre Pato and Inter Milan duo of keeper Julio Cesar and forward Diego Milito.

All figures were exclusive to this release, their MC codes were not used as part of any other release or series, further adding to the appeal and collectability of this series, which has always remained a challenge to complete.

The figures were not released in single mystery boxes, as was the case with Italy Series 1 & 2, instead they were released in a sealed secret sachet. Each sachet contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the seven base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver, Gold and Black

There was no collector's information leaflet issued with the figures, instead there was a Fanbuk, which was a wonderful little booklet which contained a profile on the player, details of how to play the MicroStars game using the player base ratings and also listed all the figures available in the series.​
