SWEDEN SERIES 14

Corinthian released Sweden Series 14 in October 2006, with the series consisting of 34 different MicroStars figures.

Sweden Series 14 is a real mixed bag in terms of the figures, a large proportion of them feature in UK Series 14, some were also released in Japan Miniatures Series 15, a few in German Series 3 and even some from Brazil Series 1 Craques Da Bola, with the Shevchenko figure featuring in all 5 series!​

Sweden Series 14 also features 8 exclusive figures, which were not released as part of any other MicroStars series! We have Alessandro Del Piero in Juventus home kit, Paolo Maldini in the home kit of AC Milan, Sven Goran Eriksson for England, Ole Gunnar Solkjaer in Manchester United home kit, Fredrik Ljunberg in Arsenal home kit, Olof Mellberg in the home kit of Aston Villa, John Arne Riise in Liverpool home kit and completing the set is my personal favourite, Martin Jorgense in Fiorentina home kit.

All 8 exclusives are incredibly hard to find, this is due to a lower production volume of the Sweden Series, and given the fact they were released in Sweden far fewer appeared on the secondary market during the time of their initial release. To obtain the 8 you really do need a good contact in Sweden in order to add these 8 superb figures to your collection.

The figures were released in single mystery boxes, the same style as the ones used for the Japan Miniatures. Each mystery box contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the seven base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver, Gold and Black
