SQUAD BOOSTER 3 PLAYER WCL GAME PACK

With the 2002 World Cup vastly approaching, Corinthian released a World Cup preview series with the introduction of the Squad Booster 3 Player WCL Game Pack.​

The Squad Booster pack contained 1 Powerpodz chocolate pod which had 1 capsule inside, along with 2 additional capsules, making it 3 figures in total included in the pack.

 

 

2 capsules would contain figures from UK Series 1, 2 or 3, while the new Red capsule would contain one of the all new international figures, with 21 international figures included in the set.

The Corinthian MicroStars Squad Booster 3 Player WCL Game Pack was available from larger Woolworths stores from late September 2001, priced at just £3, which represented excellent value. The pack was also available to purchase from Corinthian Direct and proved to be one of their best selling items that year.

All 21 international kit figures would also feature in UK Series 4 International Superstars, with series 4 having an additional 6 international kit figures included, making it 27 in total to collect.

The final thing to mention is the figure of Ronaldo in Brazil home kit was also released in the Power Shot version 1, but  only on a Green and Gold base, all 6 base colours feature inside the Squad Booster pack and also in Series 4 International Superstars.
