Corinthian released series specifically for the Japanese market, which was booming at this point in time, with the name given to the Japanese series being Miniatures. The miniatures were released in blind boxes inside a CDU (counter display unit) as opposed to coming with chocolate like the UK series.

 

 

Japan Miniatures Series 10 was perhaps one of the best series of MicroStars Corinthian ever released, as it was comprised entirely of legends of the game, 28 in total, it really was a 'who is who' of world football!

28 Gold Legends Gift Box features all 28 figures from Miniatures Series 10 on a Gold base. The reason for this box set being released was that the legends box set which had the figures on a Green base had completely sold out, having only made 1000 sets, and Corinthian were still being asked for the pack, such was the popularity of the set.​

Corinthian produced this new set with them all on Gold specifically for the Swedish market but 750 sets were kept back to be sold directly to UK collector club members, with the pack being priced at just £30.

A highly sought after and collectible gift box, I am unsure as to the worldwide production volume, but only 750 were released in the UK which explains why it can be so elusive to find.
