SWEDEN SERIES 15

Corinthian released Sweden Series 15 in May 2007, with the series consisting of 40 different MicroStars figures.

Sweden Series 15 is very similar to Sweden Series 14, in the fact it is made up of previously released figure but does also feature 7 exclusives!​

​

Of the 33 non exclusives, 31 of them were also released in UK Series 15, with Kahn being released in German Series 3. The vast majority of the figures were also released in Japan Miniatures Series 16 and/or German Series 3, with 7 also featuring in Brazil Series 1 'Craques Da Bola'

The 7 figures which are exclusive to Sweden Series 15 are Sami Hyypia in Liverpool home kit, Morten Gamst Pederson in Blackburn Rovers away kit, Thomas Gravesen in Celtic home kit, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Manchester United away kit, Fredrik Ljungberg in Arsenal away kit, Martin Jorgensen in Fiorentina away kit and Andreas Isaksson in Manchester City home kit.

These 7 exclusives are, as you would imagine, incredibly rare to find and always in high demand. Precious few ever made it into UK collector's hands, or onto the secondary markat the time of their release, hence why they continue to remain so elusive, plus the production volume was much lower than a standard UK series release.

The figures were released in single mystery boxes, the same style as the ones used for the Japan Miniatures. Each mystery box contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the seven base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver, Gold and Black

 

 

A collectors information leaflet also came issued with the figures which detailed those available in the series, with the text being in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish. The boxes were released inside a CDU (Counter Display Unit) with 24 boxes per CDU, with the distributor for the series being Evanoff & Nilemo AB.
