KEY PLAYERS - ENGLAND 2004

Corinthian released a set of England Key Players to coincide with the 2004 World Cup, the 8 selected are Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Sol Campbell, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, John Terry and manager Sven Goran Eriksson.​

What sets this series apart from all previous series is that they were not released as a blister, instead they were released inside a window box. I am unsure as to why this change was made, however I feel the fact that Corinthian shifted back to a blister pack after thi series shows the change was not a success.

The figures are the same size as MicroStars, however they do not have a base, player ratings and they have a key chain attached to their head.

The Key Players were assigned collector codes, however they do not actually appear on the figure themselves. All 8 were released as a single window box.
