JAPAN MINIATURES SERIES 11

Japan Miniatures Series 11 is essentially UK Series 12, as it features the exact same set of 48 figures, which consists of 32 club home kit, 8 club away kit and 8 national home kits, with the MC codes being identical, however there are 3 figures which are exclusive to Japan Miniatures Series 12!

The normal edition features 2 Chaser figures, Gennaro Gattuso in AC Milan away kit and Roberto Baggio in Juventus 1994/95 home kit. The Gattuso also features in the Extension edition, with the other Extension Chaser being Roberto Baggio in Juventus 1994/95 away kit.​

Despite the Gattuso being a Chaser figure he is actually relatively easily obtained, at least by Chaser standards, however that is not the case when it comes to the two Baggio's. Both the home and away kit Baggio chasers are incredibly hard to find, with Gold base version proving all but impossible to find, and remain amongst the most sought after of al Japan Miniatures figures.

This was the very first Miniatures series to feature Black bases, despite that fact the 3 Chaser figures were not released on a Black base.

The figures were released in single mystery boxes, each mystery box contained one randomly packed MicroStars figure, which could be on one of the seven base colours, which are Green, Red, Blue, White, Silver, Gold and Black. The extension edition also had it's own single box, which featured the Extension branding across it.

 

 

A collectors information leaflet also came issued with the figures which detailed those available in the series, with the text being in Japanese, with an updated version also being included in the Extension edition. The boxes were released inside a CDU (Counter Display Unit) , with the distributor for the series being New Wave, who's store was called Foot Circle.
