DISPLAY STANDS

Since the launch of MicroStars, Corinthian were inundated with requests to produce a display stand to accompany the figures, and on the 18th October 2004 collector prayers were answered, as Corinthian released their MicroStars Display Stands.

Corinthian produced 2 different stands 'straight' and 'curved' with the idea being to create a full MicroStars Stadium. The Straight stands held 60 figures and the Curved held 50 figures, with each tier having a thin slit which allowed the MicroStars figure to be slid in and held firmly in place.

 

 

Each Display Stand cost £5.99, so creating a full stadium would cost £60. Corinthian also included some stickers to be added to the stadium to give it that real authentic look.

 To create a full MicroStars stadium collector's needed to purchase 6 straight stands and 4 curved, doing so would mean the capacity of your MicroStars stadium would be 560 figures!

The MicroStars stands were, as you would imagine, incredibly popular and are still highly sought after today, with boxed versions being notoriously difficult to pick up.
