COCA-COLA OXXO Special

As part of Corinthian's partnership with Coca-Cola, a special figure of Wayne Rooney in England home kit was released.​

The Rooney was released in a store called OXXO which is a convenience store in Mexico. Customers were required to purchase a 600ml bottle of Coca Cola and pay 5 pesos, in return they were given a KB Zones Mundialistas secret sachet which would contain a randomly packed figure, which had the possibility of containing the exclusive Rooney, however finding a Rooney was very difficult.

The figure was released on a Red base and had it's own unique collector code, starting with CCM (Coca Cola Mexico) the figure did not have the player ratings under the base.

The Rooney is very hard to locate and it is certainly advantageous to have good contacts in Mexico. Many thanks to my good friend Victor F Gz for providing the insight and information into how the Rooney figures was sold and distributed.
