J-PHONE/VODAFONE

Corinthian joined forces with J-Phone/Vodafone to release a set of 3 Manchester United Key Rings, with the figures being released on a variety of different packaging formats.​

One format sees the figures attached to a Vodafone branded lanyard, wrapped around a white backing card and placed inside a plastic sleeve. I can only surmise that these were given away when taking out a phone contract with J-Phone/Vodafone. They are very difficult to find in this particular format, with all 3 players being produced.

The next format sees the figure on a thin black string, wrapped around a Red Manchester United branded backing card, which features the player name and squad number, and also carries the J-Phone and Vodafone branding. Beckham and Keane were released on this format, I do assume that Veron was also produced however I am yet to see one, so if any collector does have Veron on this format please get in touch.

The final format sees all 3 figures released on the standard Key Rings blister pack, with all 3 being on a Manchester United themed backing card, which is the most readily available version of the figures, given how they were released within the UK.

The figures are the same size as MicroStars, however they do not have a base, player ratings and they have a key chain attached to their head.

The Key Players were assigned collector codes, however they do not actually appear on the figure themselves.
